Christmas Cash Winners Announced-Week 1

The Perry County Chamber of Commerce along with participating businesses are proud to announce this year’s Christmas Cash Giveaway. To win, shoppers must register at one of the participating merchants from through December 23 to win Chamber gift certificates. The promotion is intended to encourage local shopping over the holiday season and give local residents some extra shopping money compliments of local businesses. The total cash to be given away this year is over $1,200. There will be a winner from each participating location each week.

Winners for the last week were Terri Hasty, Natalie Johnson, Allan Brown, Margaret Goffinet, Susan Graves, Nellie Peter, Troy Buckendahl, Roberta Gibson, Tina Gladish, Paul Kreisle, Vanessa Brozzo and Pam Lock.

Participating businesses are Celebrations, German American, Fischer’s Furniture & Appliance, Hauenstein’s, Lauer Floral Company, Marian’s Hallmark, Nobles IGA, Old National, Roland’s, Now & Then and Wal-Mart Tell City Supercenter.

These certificates are also available for sale at the Chamber office free of charge. They can be purchased in any denomination and recipients may use them for purchases at the following Perry County businesses: Bill & Dave’s Smokin Pit, Blue Heron Winery, Canary Outdoor Power, Capers, Carriage Inn, Celebrations, Charlie’s Auto Parts, Colucci Log Cabins, Day’s Inn, Domestic Goddess, Fifth Third Bank, Fischer’s Furniture & Appliance, Gatherings, German American, Hauenstein’s, Holiday Inn Express, Lauer Floral Company, Maurices, McFall Family Meats, New Directions Health & Fitness, Nobles IGA, Now & Then, Orscheln Farm & Home, Ramada Inn, Reynards, Riverside Diner, Roland’s Jewelry, Sassy’s Spa & Salon, ServiceMaster of Tell City, Skinsations, Southern Wireless, Team Central, VIP/Petals, Visible Changes, Walmart Tell City Supercenter, Werner Drug Store and William Tell Antiques & Collectibles.

This year over $31,600 in retail sales was kept in the county through our gift certificate program.

Perry County History Book on Sale this Christmas

The Perry County Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce a sale on the Perry County: Then and Now book by Michael Rutherford. The book will be on sale through the end of the year for $50 – tax included! This book will make a great Christmas present for those hard-to-buy-for on your list!

The Perry County History Book is a standard library-size hardbound, 288 page book with a beautiful full color cover. The book was re-printed last year by request, so pick-up your copy today by calling the Chamber office or by visiting area retailers.
