22nd Annual Witches Walk

The Perry County Chamber of Commerce and area merchants will be "treating" local residents to a safe Halloween during this year's Witches Walk scheduled for Tuesday, October 30th from 5-7:00 pm.

During Witches Walk, children will go store-to-store dressed in costumes seeking "goodies" from local merchants who are participating in the Witches Walk.  Children and their parents are asked to look for the orange poster with the witch on her broom to identify those businesses participating in the candy give-away.  Participating Perry County businesses and merchants donate their time and money to promote th eevent and provide "treats" for the trick-or-treaters.

Participating this year are:  Downtown Tell City - Old National, Perry County News, Roland's, Tell City Electric Department, Perry County CVB, Waupaca Foundry, Parker Hannifin, Celebrations, Danny Bolin Photography, German American, Capers, Ohio Valley Gas, Tell Street Cafe, Everbody's Fun & Fitness and Fischer Furniture & Appliance.  Other Tell City participants: Patrick Auto Repair, Oakwood Health Campus, Nobles, Long John Silver's, McDonald's, Accent, Papa Johns, Wendy's, Golden Living Center, Twilight Towers and EUCC.

The City of Tell City barricades a stretch of Main Street from Jefferson Street to Pestalozzi Street in downtown Tell City to provide a safe environment for children to walk and enjoy the evening.
