Christmas Cash Giveaway - Week 1

The Perry County Chamber of Commerce along with the 11 participating businesses are proud to announce this year's Christmas Cash Giveaway. To win, shoppers must register at one of the participating merchants through December 20 to win Chamber gift certificates. The promotion is intended to encourage local shopping over the holiday season and give local residents some extra shopping money compliments of local businesses. The total cash to give away this year is $1,100. There will be a winner from each participating location each week.

Winners and location their name was drawn for the first week were: Angela Henning from Celebrations, Jennifer Mattingly from Domestic Goddess Salon & Boutique, Roger Dale Peter from German American, Scarlet Carter from Fischer's Furniture & Appliance, Samantha DuPont from Hauenstein's, Pam Austin from Nobles, Tina Smith from Now & Then, Sam Fredell from Old National Bank, Leslie Ransom from Roland's, Anita Bruggeman from Skinsations and Joyce Alvey from The Depot Artisan Shop.

These certificates are also available for sale at the Chamber office and can be purchased in any denomination. Recipients may use them for purchases at the following Perry County Chamber Member businesses: AT&T InTouch Communications, Bill & Dave's Smokin Pit, Blue Heron Winery, Canary Outdoor Power, Carriage Inn, Celebrations, Charlie's Auto Parts, Day's Inn, Domestic Goddess Salon & Boutique, Everbody's Fun and Fitness, Fifth Third Bank, Fischer's Furniture & Appliance, Gatherings, German American, Hauenstein's, Holiday Inn Express, Lulu's Prom & Bridal, Maurices, McFall Family Meats, New Directions Health & Fitness, Nobles IGA, Now & Then, Orscheln Farm & Home, PSC, Ramada Inn, Rocky Point Waterfront Grille, Roland's Jewelry, ServiceMaster of Tell City, Skinsations, VIP/Petals, Walmart Tell City Supercenter, Werner Drug Store, William Tell Antiques & Collectibles and Winzerwald Winery.

This year over $30,000 in retail sales was kept in the county through our gift certificate program.
